OUR BAND
It all started when…
Stage Fright started like many good ideas—over late-night talks and plenty of trial and error. Eddie and Kurt met in high school through the music club, bonding over their love of classic rock and frustration with talent shows. After graduation, they decided to form a band and brought in Taylor, a punk drummer known for his high-energy performances.
The band came together when Dave joined as the lead singer. A regular on the local open mic scene, his raw vocals and stage presence stood out. From basement shows to backyard parties, they shaped their sound and became known for their gritty performances and lyrics that resonated with everyday struggles.
Now, they're taking their music to bigger stages, but they’ll never forget where they came from.
Jeremiah Derracott
Jeremiah’s powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence make him the voice of Stage Fright. A former slam poet turned rock star, Jeremiah uses his poetic roots to pen lyrics that connect with fans on a deep level. Known for his jokes and boundless energy, Jeremiah loves whipping up experimental recipes in his downtime.
Evanson Kelly
Evanson’s raw, electrifying guitar riffs are the pulse of Stage Fright's sound. He grew up in a mountain cabin, where he taught himself to play on a beat-up acoustic guitar found in the attic. Inspired by the rugged landscapes of his hometown, Evanson channels his energy into creating riffs that shake the soul. Offstage, he’s an avid painter and amateur carpenter.
Johnathon De La Torre
Johnathon is the backbone of Stage Fright, delivering basslines that are like strikes of thunder. Born and raised in a small beach town, Johnathon discovered his passion for music while strumming along to his dad's old jazz records. When he’s not on stage, you’ll find him either surfing or hunting for rare vinyl at record stores.
Todd Mandell
Todd’s drumming is the heart and soul of Stage Fright’s rhythms. Coming from a bustling city, Todd found his calling when he stumbled into a percussion workshop at a local music festival. Whether it’s driving beats or intricate fills, Todd’s passion for rhythm keeps the band on track
